Are dogs allowed?

Sadly no; despite reassurances from owners to the contrary, we have had incidences of dogs biting people in previous years.  We have also had reports that previously well behaved dogs have become unsettled by the large crowds and noise at the festival.

What about push-bikes?

Another no unfortunately; our gate security will ask you to dismount and leave your bike near to the site entrance; so bring a lock and chain.  Cycles are left at their owners risk.

How do I get tickets for the Fringe Festival?

Fringe is a free festival, tickets are not needed to attend, the capacity of the Riverside site is 10,000 - So latecomers may be disappointed if they are refused admission, our advice? Get down early and make a day of it! 

The main arena on Riverside will open its gates at 11.45am each day.

Please Note - This year the comedy tent is Not Ticketed, admission is on first come, first served basis.
